These terms govern your use of Spellery, a daily word game. By playing Spellery you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

The service

Spellery is a free, browser-based word game. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may limit or discontinue the game at any time. We aim to keep it available and working, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Your account

Spellery gives you an anonymous account automatically so you can play right away, and you may optionally link a Google account to save your progress across devices. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. How we handle the data tied to your account is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

When using Spellery, you agree not to:

• Interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on the game or its infrastructure.
• Access the game through automated means, or use bots or scripts to play, scrape, or gain an unfair advantage.
• Attempt to probe, breach, or circumvent the security of the service or the accounts of other players.
• Use the game for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.

Intellectual property

Spellery, including its name, design, artwork, puzzles, and software, belongs to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the game except as allowed by law.

Disclaimer of warranties

Spellery is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Spellery.

Termination

You may stop using Spellery at any time. We may suspend or end your access to the game if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Spellery after an update means you accept the revised terms.
